After a two-week pause that lasted from combined strike on June 2, the enemy launched a massive combined long-range attack using ballistic, hypersonic, cruise missiles, as well as drones. In total, according to the report of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, russian terrorists used 681 various long-range weapons, including:
- 34 ballistic missiles of the Iskander tactical ballistic missile system as well as the S-300/400 SAM systems;
- 6 hypersonic Zircon missiles;
- 30 Kh-101 and Iskander-K cruise missiles;
- 611 Shahed-type strike UAVs and false targets.
On the night of June 15, Russia launched a massive air attack. The aggressor used 681 air attack assets: 6 Zircon missiles, 34 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, 30 Kh-101 cruise missiles and 611 enemy UAVs.Ukrainian air defenders shot down:◾️ 5 Zircon missiles◾️ 15… pic.twitter.com/3HatZp9mRl— Ukrainian Air Force (@KpsZSU) June 15, 2026

- 15 ballistic missiles of the Iskander tactical ballistic missile system as well as the S-300/400 SAM systems – 44%;
- 5 hypersonic Zircon missiles – 83%;
- 30 Kh-101 and Iskander-K cruise missiles – 100%;
- 582 Shahed-type strike UAVs and false targets - 95%.

60 out of 70 missiles were fired directly at Kyiv. According to unofficial data of monitoring channels, up to 19 ballistic missiles and all Zircon hypersonic missiles were aimed at Kyiv, which, like last time, were launched from two directions - from the temporarily occupied Crimea and the Bryansk region, russia. But this time the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to intercept almost all of these hypersonic missiles, while two weeks ago, none of the eight Zircons could be intercepted.
As in the case of the massive attack on June 2, the russians once again relied on the use of ballistic and hypersonic missiles, which can only be intercepted by the Patriot SAM systems. As during the attack on the night of Tuesday, June 2, the number of such weapons exceeded the number of cruise missiles.
Recall that two weeks ago, the russians used 33 ballistic missiles (11 intercepted, 33%) and 8 hypersonic Zircon missiles, 32 cruise missiles (29 intercepted, 90%), as well as a similar number of drones - 656 units (602 neutralized, 92%).
On the night of June 02, Russia launched a massive air attack. The aggressor used 729 air attack assets: 8 Zircon missiles, 33 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, 5 Kalibr cruise missiles, 27 Kh-101 cruise missiles and 656 Shahed-type UAVs.Ukrainian air defenders shot down:◾️… pic.twitter.com/UeDtKKgaHE— Ukrainian Air Force (@KpsZSU) June 2, 2026
As of Monday morning, May 15, 2019, 28 people were injured while four were killed in Kyiv. As reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration, during this air attack the enemy targeted residential buildings, in addition, as a result of the russian massive strike, historical and cultural sites were damaged, in particular the Assumption Cathedral of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra in Kyiv and the House of Organ and Chamber Music in the Dnipro.

In Kharkiv, in a repeated terrorist strike, russian terrorists killed five rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine who were extinguishing a fire at the site of the previous strike.
This is how Russia shows the world its intention to continue the war. It is very important that there be a response from the G7 countries, which are now gathering for their summit – and that this response be decisive and substantive: more pressure on the aggressor and more… https://t.co/z9ucKobVeQ— Defense of Ukraine (@DefenceU) June 15, 2026
While the russians are terrorizing the civilian population of Ukraine and destroying cultural monuments, the Defense forces of Ukraine are carrying out targeted strikes on russian military facilities – command posts, training grounds, troop logistics, military enterprises, as well as on the economy of the aggressor country, in order to reduce its capabilities to wage war against Ukraine.
