During the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi to the Netherlands, he was shown military equipment that Ukraine will shortly receive from the Dutch government. Among the photos from the air bases of the Dutch Air Force, we can see ones featuring PzH 2000 self-propelled howitzers, Patriot air defense systems, BvS 10 tracked all-terrain vehicles and for the first time – the Fennek patrol vehicles.
These armored scout cars were developed jointly by Germany and the Netherlands and entered production in 2001. Crewed by three people, this vehicle is equipped with an electro-optical system and a UAV. The armament is a 12.7mm machine gun and optionally a 40mm grenade launcher.

So far, the Netherlands contributed the following assets as military aid to Ukraine, according to the monitoring by Oryx: two Patriot fire units and an unspecified number of missiles to them, 12 AIM-120 missiles for NASAMS air defense systems, 40 Bofors 40L70 AA guns; also eight PzH 2000 howitzers, 196 YPR-765 armored carriers and around 300 trucks; 50 Stinger man-portable launchers with 200 missiles.
We should as well not forget about the provision of Harpoon anti-ship missile systems and the announced transfer of Alkmaar mine trawlers for the Ukrainian Navy.
In joint efforts with partners, the Netherlands also provides funds for the procurement of 45 T-72 tanks, modernized in the Czech Republic, 100 Leopard 1A5 and 14 Leopard 2A4 tanks; finances the production of Victor trucks mounted with ZPU-2 guns.
