A new episode of robotic warfare has emerged on the front line, where a Ukrainian ground robotic system not only evaded russian FPV drone attack but also executed a direct counteraction, according to footage released by the Liut Brigade.

The incident involved operators of a ground robotic system from the Safari Regiment, who were conducting a combat mission when they detected a concealed russian waiting drone, commonly used in ambush-style attacks. These FPV drones are typically positioned in hidden locations and activated when a target enters their effective range.

Upon identifying the threat, Ukrainian operators chose to act preemptively rather than retreat. According to the released footage, they monitored the enemy drone until it lifted off to initiate an attack, attempting to strike the Ukrainian robotic platform.

Instead of evading the strike, the system abruptly changed direction and moved directly toward the incoming FPV drone. The maneuver resulted in a deliberate ramming action at the critical moment of engagement.

The impact was precise and forceful enough to flip russian drone upside down, effectively neutralizing its ability to continue the attack. The footage highlights a rare case in which an unmanned ground system actively engaged and destroyed an aerial threat without human direct fire intervention.

As Defense Express previously reported, Ukrainian paratroopers reported successful strikes on russian supply movements and artillery positions while repelling infiltration attempts on the Sloviansk axis.
