According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the December 3 operation targeted the Dmitrievskaya oil depot in russia's Tambov region — a key logistics hub supplying fuel to the russian military.
The strike ignited multiple fuel storage tanks, with the full extent of the damage still being assessed.

In the Black Sea, Ukrainian forces successfully struck a technical observation post on the MSP-4 offshore stationary platform. Preliminary assessments indicate that a russian UAV crew stationed at the site was eliminated, while the surface-monitoring radar on the nearby Syvash self-elevating drilling rig sustained damage. These platforms serve as maritime surveillance nodes supporting russia's Black Sea operational picture.
The General Staff also confirmed the destruction of three Orion reconnaissance-strike UAVs during the November 27 attack on the Saky airfield near Novofedorivka in temporarily occupied Crimea.
Each Orion system, valued at approximately $5 million, is among russia's most capable long-endurance UAVs, with a 16.3-meter wingspan and endurance of up to 24 hours.
Additionally, Ukraine has verified the impact of its December 2 strike on the Livny oil depot in russia's Oryol region. Two RV-5000 fuel tanks caught fire following the attack by Ukrainian strike UAVs, delivering another blow to russian military fuel logistics.

The General Staff emphasized that these operations are part of a systematic campaign aimed at degrading russia's military-economic capacity and forcing the aggressor state to halt its war against Ukraine.
