A joint Navy-SOF operation destroyed the enemy's command post, the Orion drone storage, and multiple air defense systems in temporarily occupied Crimea

The Ukrainian Navy, operating in coordination with units of the Special Operations Forces, carried out a successful combined operation against temporarily occupied Saky airbase in Crimea. The video confirming the strike was published on the official Facebook page of the Ukrainian Navy, offering visual evidence of a complex, multi-target attack deep behind enemy lines.

According to the footage and accompanying information, Ukrainian operators struck the enemy's command and control infrastructure, specifically targeting the airfield's command-dispatch center. This facility plays a key role in coordinating russian aviation activity over Crimea and parts of the Black Sea region, making it a strategically significant achievement.

The operation also hit russian storage sites containing Orion strike UAVs. These drones are among the Kremlin's few domestically produced long-range systems intended to support reconnaissance and strike missions. Their destruction further reduces russia's ability to conduct persistent drone operations.

In addition to damaging key aviation assets, the strike package neutralized several russian air defense positions. Among the destroyed systems were russian Tor-M2 short-range and Pantsir-S1 SAM systems, both of which russia heavily relies on to protect military infrastructure against Ukrainian drones and missiles. The elimination of these systems highlights the growing vulnerability of russian air defenses across Crimea.

Ukrainian forces also struck the ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft cannon mounted on a KamAZ truck. While less sophisticated than the Tor or Pantsir, such mobile guns are frequently used by russian troops as close-range defenses against low-flying drones, and their loss further weakens local protection around the airbase.
