​The Armed Forces of Ukraine Testing a Rare Trophy Russian 2B16 Nona-K Gun-Mortar

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to test equipment seized in battles with Russian occupation forces.

This time it is about the russian 2B16 Nona-K 120mm towed gun-mortar. The video with the testing of this weapon was published on Ukraine Weapons Tracker account on Twitter.

According to the report, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have managed to capture at least seven such an artillery systems in recent months.

According to the Military Balance, as of 2021, Russia had 124 such gun-mortars: 100 - as part of the land forces, another 24 - as part of the Marines. Ukraine had only two such gun-mortars.

Defense Express reported that the Ukrainian warriors are already using American M777A2 howitzers on the battlefield - and they are having their first successes.
