Press service of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade recently released a report highlighting the role of mobile air defense groups equipped with Novator armored vehicles produced by Ukrainian Armor. These vehicles are armed with 7.62 mm and 12.7 mm machine guns and form a critical part of the brigade's air defense component, specifically within its anti-aircraft missile and artillery battalion.
Photos shared by the unit show the personnel operating from Novator armored vehicles while intercepting enemy air threats.

"Thanks to the armored protection of the vehicle, our fighters can rapidly reposition, maintaining a tactical advantage over the enemy," the brigade's statement reads.
The Novator armored vehicle was first introduced in 2017. In 2023, Ukrainian Armor unveiled the upgraded Novator 2, featuring significant improvements, including expanded troop capacity — now accommodating up to 10 personnel.
By late 2024, the manufacturer reported a threefold increase in Novator production compared to 2023 — a testament to the growing demand for highly mobile and protected platforms on the modern battlefield.
