​Ukrainian Armor Presents Modernized Novator Armored Vehicle Adapted for New Conditions

The modified armored vehicle will undergo state testing immediately after the exhibition

Ukrainian Armor company presented has presented a new modification of its Novator specialized armored vehicle, which incorporates the experience of Ukrainian military personnel in using this vehicle on the battlefield, the company’s press service reports.

The vehicle was showcased at the MSPO defense exhibition, which is taking place from September 5 to 8 in the city of Kielce, Poland. As noted by the company’s director, Vladislav Belbas, the modified 10-seat Novator is the “most up-to-date, updated version” of this vehicle, taking into account the requirements of the current [war] time.

The main task that the designers solved during the modernization of the vehicle was to increase the maximum load capacity of the Ford chassis, which is 8,845 kg. This issue was addressed by using modern, thinner and harder armor, as well as by upgrading the suspension, according to Vladislav Belbas.

The Novator armored vehicle has received enhanced mine protection. Additionally, the modular construction principle of the vehicle has been retained, allowing it to be adapted for various battlefield tasks through the integration of appropriate weaponry and combat modules.

It is noted that Ukrainian Armor is showcasing a prototype of its modified armored vehicle, which will undergo state testing immediately after the exhibition.
