While performing a combat mission in the Toretsk sector, one of the armored vehicles of the Liut brigade of the National Police of Ukraine survived an enemy anti-tank mine blast.
Although the vehicle's armor sustained some deformation, both soldiers aboard the Novator infantry mobility vehicle remained safe and sound. This was reported by the press service of Ukrainian Armor (part of NAUDI), a manufacturer of these armored vehicles.

On behalf of Defense Express, we should emphasize that although the example above may seem local, it highlights the high production quality and performance characteristics of Ukrainian-made armored vehicles.
It should also be noted that the crew of the damaged Novator received a new vehicle to continue performing their tasks, which demonstrates how important this type of armored vehicle is for the assault units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
In addition, it can be assumed that the explosion of a russian anti-tank mine occurred on one of the frontline roads, underscoring the importance of acquiring additional Novator vehicles to support logistics in combat zones.

It is also worth noting that at the time of the explosion, not only did the vehicle's protective armor fulfill its role, but the fire extinguishing system also activated promptly, thereby mitigating the effects of the russian mine explosion.
In this context, it is crucial to highlight why the Defenders of Ukraine need as many armored vehicles like the Novator as possible, primarily due to their high level of protection and production quality.
Earlier Defense Express reported that KNDS Deutschland had created joint venture with unnamed Ukrainian enterprise.
