Ukrainian drone units targeted four gas compressor stations in occupied Crimea, damaged a key logistics bridge linking Crimea to russian forces in southern Ukraine, and struck multiple fuel and military transport assets during a coordinated overnight operation on June 20

Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) carried out a large-scale deep-strike mission against russian military logistics and energy infrastructure across occupied Crimea and southern Ukraine, according to USF Commander Major Robert Madyar Brovdi.

The operation involved several specialized drone units, including the 414th Brigade Madyar's Birds, the 427th Brigade Rarog, and the 20th Brigade K-2, which conducted simultaneous attacks against infrastructure supporting russian military operations.

Four Gas Facilities Hit in Occupied Crimea

One of the primary targets was russian-controlled gas infrastructure on the Crimean Peninsula.

According to Brovdi, operators from the 9th Battalion Kairos of the 414th Brigade struck gas compressor stations located near the settlements of Zhuravlivka, Aromatne, and Kliuchi, while the 1st Operational Center of the USF targeted another compressor station in Lokhivka.

Video footage released by the Unmanned Systems Forces showed strikes against the facilities, which are part of Crimea's energy infrastructure.

The attacks continue a broader Ukrainian campaign aimed at degrading russian military-supporting industrial and energy assets in occupied territories. Just days earlier, Ukrainian drones reportedly disrupted operations at the Crimean Titan chemical plant in Armyansk, a facility involved in producing materials used in explosives, propellants, and other military applications.

Bridge Across Henichesk Strait

Another major target was the road bridge across the Henichesk Strait in the occupied part of the Kherson region.

The bridge serves as an important logistics route connecting occupied Crimea with russian forces operating on the southern front. Ukrainian military officials have repeatedly highlighted the importance of disrupting transport corridors used to move fuel, ammunition, and military equipment from Crimea toward frontline units.

The strike was carried out by the 427th Brigade Rarog.

Fuel Trucks, Military Vehicles, and Tugboat Also Hit

Beyond strategic infrastructure, Ukrainian drone operators targeted a range of russian logistics assets across occupied territories.

The strikes included:

  • A harbor tug operating near Skadovsk;
  • Two fuel tanker trucks in Dmytrivka and Chaplynka;
  • A BAZ-6403 heavy-duty military tractor truck near Kliuchove;
  • Two armored vehicles, including a Typhoon-K, in the occupied Luhansk region;
  • More than seven additional logistics vehicles in Crimea and occupied areas of the Kherson, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions.

Video released by Ukrainian forces showed multiple drone strikes against fuel and transport assets, underscoring the growing emphasis on disrupting russian sustainment networks behind the front lines.

Ukrainian drone units have increasingly targeted fuel supplies, transportation hubs, bridges, industrial facilities, and support vehicles. Such attacks force russian forces to reroute supplies, increase transportation distances, and allocate additional resources to protect rear-area infrastructure.

As Brovdi summarized after the operation, Ukraine's drone units are continuing to "reorganize enemy logistics in the operational depth."
