According to the brigade, after completing its firing mission, russian crew attempted to conceal the launcher near a forested area, likely hoping to avoid detection and a subsequent counterstrike. However, Ukrainian drone operators continued monitoring the vehicle's movement.
The reconnaissance effort enabled Ukrainian forces to maintain visual contact with the target and direct a strike against the rocket launcher. Footage released by the brigade shows the moment the drone engaged the vehicle after locating it near the tree line.
Follow-up surveillance conducted after the attack confirmed the destruction of the system. Additional drone footage captured the Grad system engulfed in flames, indicating that the launcher had been successfully neutralized.
