Ukrainian forces carried out a series of strikes against russian military-related infrastructure on June 21 and during the night of June 22, targeting facilities deep inside russian territory. The operations were announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
One of the primary targets was the Dubna space communications center in russia's Moscow region. According to the General Staff, the facility was successfully hit, with reports indicating significant smoke rising from the site following the strike.

The extent of the damage inflicted on the communications center remains under assessment. Ukrainian military officials said that additional information regarding russian losses and the operational impact of the attack is still being clarified.
The Dubna facility is believed to play a role in russia's communications and information infrastructure, making it a strategically significant target. Strikes on such assets are intended to disrupt command, control, and communications capabilities that support military operations.
In a separate development, the General Staff confirmed the successful strike on the Port Kavkaz infrastructure in russia's Krasnodar region on June 21. The confirmation followed additional analysis of intelligence and operational data collected after the attack.
The General Staff also reported that two automobile ferries were damaged during the operation. These vessels were reportedly used to support the logistical needs of russian forces operating in the south of Ukraine.
