Ukrainian drones have destroyed russian Pantsir-S2 air defense system on the Zaporizhzhia front, according to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense.
The operation was carried out by unmanned aerial systems operated by the Department of Active Actions. Footage released by the agency shows the engagement and subsequent destruction of russian air defense asset.

Russian forces attempted to conceal the Pantsir-S2 system inside an underground shelter in an effort to protect it from aerial attacks. Despite these measures, Ukrainian drone operators were able to locate and successfully strike the system.
The released video indicates that the attack resulted in a direct hit, causing a fire that ultimately destroyed the vehicle. The Defense Intelligence stated that the air defense complex burned out completely following the strike.
As Defense Express previously reported, operators from Ukraine's 17th Brigade struck russian warehouse storing ammunition and military supplies, triggering massive explosions and a fire.
