Lithuania has gathered 3,3 out of 5 million euros to buy Bayraktar TB2 drones for Ukrainian Armed Forces. The fundraiser initiated by Lithuanian TV TV presenter Andrius Tapina has gathered this much in two days of the campaign, Kyiv Independent reports. The initiative was supported by a number of Lithuanian officials, including the Minister of Defense Arvydas Anusauskas, Prime Minister Ingrida Simonyte and former president Dalia Grybauskaite.
It is said the fundraising campaign attracted money at a rate of about 1,500 euros per minute.

21:10 Ukrainian paratroopers shot down another Ka-52 "Alligator"
Air defense units of the 95th Air Assault Brigade destroyed another russian helicopter. The military shot the aircraft with a "Piorun" MANPADS missile in the Kharkib region. It is not the first helicopter the brigade has downed. Over the past month only, the unit's air defenders eliminated at least four helicopters, two of them being the Ka-52, and two more – the Mi-8 transporters.
In general, Ukrainian paratroopers have shot down 67 air targets already, says the Air Assault Forces Command. But doesn't specify whether this number includes cruise missiles as well.

Gazprom will lose the Haidach gas storage facility in Austria if the gas operator doesn't fill it with gas, Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer said during a telephone conversation with russian President Vladimir Putin.
"Austria will open the Haidach gas storage facility to other companies if the Russian Gazprom does not use it," Kleine Zeitung quotes the Austrian Chancellor, Ukraine NOW. reports.
Gazprom's Haidach storage facility in Salzburg is the largest in Austria and the second largest in Central Europe. It was built by Gazprom together with its subsidiary WINGAS. Storage capacity is 2.8 billion cubic meters.

The photos from Ukrainian scouts shared by him show russian tanks and a BMPT "Terminator" tank support fighting vehicle. Having got caught by Ukrainian artillery, the armored machines started to flee, according to Censor.net.

18:52 The United States has signed an agreement on the purchase of Stinger man-portable air-defense system (MANPADS) to replenish the stockpiles from which weapons were sent to Ukraine. The cost of the contract is $ 687 million. The document refers to the purchase of 1,468 Stingers from Raytheon Technologies. According to Reuters, about 1,400 Stinger missile systems have been sent to Ukraine since February.

18:21 Since the Russian Federation’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine started, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) has recorded 8,766 civilian casualties in the country: 4,031 killed and 4,735 injured.
“This included: a total of 4,031 killed (1,529 men, 995 women, 92 girls, and 100 boys, as well as 69 children and 1,246 adults whose sex is yet unknown); a total of 4,735 injured (957 men, 629 women, 110 girls, and 132 boys, as well as 164 children and 2,743 adults whose sex is yet unknown),” reads the OHCHR’s civilian casualty update.
As noted, most of the civilian casualties recorded were caused by the use of explosive weapons with a wide impact area, including shelling from heavy artillery and multiple launch rocket systems, and missile and air strikes.

17:55 Defense Intelligence of Ukraine reports that the Russian occupiers are placing their personnel in a Ukrainian penal colony. Thus, they took to Kherson all the convicts and staff from the correctional colony № 10 in the temporarily occupied village of Darʼivka, Kherson oblast. Currently, the colony is used by the Russians as the residence of army personnel, and military equipment is also on the territory.
Approximately from mid-June, the Russian occupiers will stop supplying funds and "humanitarian aid" to captured Mariupol. It is expected that this will further exacerbate the humanitarian catastrophe in the city.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has given an address to an Indonesian think tank this morning, and said Ukraine was not eager to talk to Russia’s Vladimir Putin, but that it has to face the reality that this will likely be necessary to end the war, The Guardian reports, citing Reuters.
He said Russia did not appear to be ready yet for serious peace talks.
“There are things to discuss with the Russian leader. I’m not telling you that to me our people are eager to talk to him, but we have to face the realities of what we are living through. Russians fired mortars from their territory on the border areas of Sumy region, northern Ukraine.
"The occupiers continue to fire on the border areas of Sumy region. Today, at about 05:15-05:20, observers recorded seven explosions from the Russian Federation towards the village of Seredyna Buda, according to preliminary information, fired with 120mm mortar," the Operational Command "North" posted on Facebook.
Eight more shots, probably fired with a 120mm mortar from the Russian Federation towards the same settlement were recorded at 06:12-06:55.
In both cases, no casualties among military personnel or local population and destruction to military equipment were reported. The information on the damage to civilian infrastructure is being clarified.
11:20 Ukrinform is reporting that russian forces shell Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine overnight. It quotes Valentyn Reznichenko, the head of the regional state administration, saying: “An unquiet night and an unquiet morning. We have several strikes. Serious destruction.”
He said that rescuers were working in rubble to look for possible survivors.
Ukrinform also quotes the mayor of Novomoskovsk, Serhii Rieznik, who said explosions had been heard in Dnipro. The Dnipropetrovsk region borders Donetsk, and is to the west of the Donbas area where much of Russia’s military activity is targeted.

10:45 On May 26, Russian troops tried to break into Sievierodonetsk, Luhansk region. Five people were killed by enemy shells in the region during the day. "Throughout the day, the Russians tried to break into Sievierodonetsk from Purdivka and Shchedryshchevo, attacked the positions of our military in the area of Ustynivka. On May 26, four Sievierodonetsk residents were killed by enemy shells. The Russians opened fire on a police station. Nobody was injured. On May 21, a 7-year-old girl was injured in an attack by the occupiers of the village of Molodetske, Belozersky District, Kherson Oblast.

The U.S. presidential administration is preparing to increase arms supplies to Ukraine by sending advanced, long-range rocket systems to the country.
That's according to CNN, Ukrinform reports.
The administration is leaning toward sending the systems as part of a larger package of military and security assistance to Ukraine, which could be announced as soon as next week.
