As of May 27, 6,737,208 people left the territory of Ukraine, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) informs.

17:40 Ukraine’s Defense Ministry Officcial: No data suggesting Putin may launch offensive on Kyiv just yet.

Currently, the Ministry of Defense has no information from either the General Staff of the Armed Forces or intelligence agencies about an impending offensive on Kyiv, while such information spins may be beneficial to the enemy.

This was announced by Deputy Defense Minister Anna Maliar, who spoke at the national telethon on Saturday.

"I reached out to the Commander-in-Chief about this issue, as well as with the head of the GUR (military intelligence) Kyrylo Budanov. As of today, we have no information that would indicate a possible offensive as soon as today. But we must understand that the threat to Kyiv and the whole territory of Ukraine prevails because we have a war going on," Maliar said.

That’s according to the president’s post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

Karim Khan, a prosecutor with the International Criminal Court, expects cooperation from Russia in a probe into the war crimes committed in Ukraine, Ukrinform reports citing Politiko.

Khan stressed that the “invitation is there” and that his “door is open,” so he will “keep knocking” on Russia’s door, too.

15:30 The press service of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on a new episode of combat applying of the 155mm CAESAR self-propelled artillery units from the 55th Artillery Brigade.

At first glance, this episode looks too simple: a group of three CAESAR SPGs destroyed two tanks, two BMDs and one ammo truck. But more important here is the efficiency Ukraine’s servicemen eliminated the enemy.

It took Ukraine’s gunners less than a minute. Shooting was conducted at a range of 22.11 km, with a rate of 4-5 shots per minute. It took Ukraine’s "gods of war" only 45 seconds to deploy to the position, they were also able to get out of the position instantly.

The Biden administration has approved sending long-range multiple launch rocket systems to Ukraine, a significant transfer that could hugely aid Ukraine’s defense of its territory in the Donbas region, U.S. officials said on Friday, The New York Times reports.

The transfer will likely be announced next week, said one official who, like the others, spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss security matters. The weapons in the transfer will include mobile rocket launchers that can shoot much farther than the launchers Ukraine is using now.

Lithuania has gathered 3,3 out of 5 million euros to buy Bayraktar TB2 drones for Ukrainian Armed Forces. The fundraiser initiated by Lithuanian TV TV presenter Andrius Tapina has gathered this much in two days of the campaign, Kyiv Independent reports. The initiative was supported by a number of Lithuanian officials, including the Minister of Defense Arvydas Anusauskas, Prime Minister Ingrida Simonyte and former president Dalia Grybauskaite.

It is said the fundraising campaign attracted money at a rate of about 1,500 euros per minute.
