Paratroopers of the 79th Separate Air Assault Tavrian Brigade express considerable affection for Australian Bushmaster armored vehicle, calling it one of their most beloved pieces of equipment. Their high regard is based on key characteristics that make this machine indispensable on the battlefield: comfort, reliability, and significant firepower.
The soldiers lovingly call the Bushmaster vehicle their "armored kangaroo", highlighting its unique capabilities.

"Comfortable, spacious, maneuverable, reliable," Ukrainian servicemen described the vehicle, indicating deep trust and satisfaction with its use in the most challenging conditions.
Special gratitude is expressed by the drivers, who skillfully "extract the maximum" from the armored vehicle. They note its ability to "fly" at speed into the most dangerous places to promptly deliver troops, ammunition, or provisions. This maneuverability and speed are also critically important for conducting rotations and, most importantly, for the swift evacuation of wounded comrades.
The internal equipment of the Bushmaster vehicle is designed with the needs of personnel in mind. Inside, the armored vehicle has eight comfortable seats for troops, allowing for the effective transportation of a significant number of military personnel. Additional comfort is provided by night and intensive lighting, as well as a climate control system, which is extremely important during prolonged operations.
The "armored kangaroo's" firepower also adds confidence to the paratroopers. Armed with the Canick M2 12.7mm machine gun, the Bushmaster vehicle becomes a reliable firing point.
As one of the paratroopers noted, "It's very good to have one, it immediately brings more peace of mind," which emphasizes the psychological effect of having powerful weaponry during combat missions.
The vehicle's reliability has been repeatedly confirmed in intense combat conditions, where the Bushmaster vehicle demonstrates its ability to withstand heavy loads and provide protection for the crew. This high reliability, combined with comfort and maneuverability, makes it an ideal choice for air assault operations.
