Ukrainian forces from the 115th Brigade carried out a clearing operation against infiltrating russian infantry in a village in Kharkiv region, according to a report released by the unit on June 1. The brigade published footage of the engagement on its official channel, showing coordinated battlefield actions during the operation.
The unit is part of Ukraine's 10th Army Corps and has been actively engaged in defensive operations across the region. In its statement, the brigade emphasized that the situation in the settlement was fully under control of Ukrainian forces following the engagement.

Russian sources had previously claimed the capture of Novoplatonivka, presenting it as a success on the battlefield. However, Ukrainian reporting and subsequent operations contradicted these claims, highlighting what Kyiv describes as repeated disinformation attempts.
In response to the reported infiltration, an assault-reconnaissance group from the 115th Brigade was deployed to clear the settlement of enemy personnel. Prior to the mission, the unit tested a ground robotic system on a training range, preparing it for combat use.
During the operation, Ukrainian forces relied on coordinated movement between infantry and unmanned systems. According to the brigade, the robotic platform provided fire support and helped improve situational awareness, contributing to the effectiveness of the clearing action.
