One such system has already been shipped to Ukraine, and its deployment is expected this month.
Business Insider has revealed the main details. The outlet notes that Atreyd's system is currently one of a kind, and Ukraine will be the first country to use such a weapon in combat. Initially, it will be employed to protect critical infrastructure from attack drones.

If the system proves effective against russian Shaheds (also known as Geran-2) and Gerber drones, it could later be used closer to the front line to intercept russian glide aerial bombs. Atreyd was one of three companies shortlisted by NATO for the most promising counter-KAB solutions.
Atreyd describes its Drone Wall as the final layer of defense against aerial threats such as strike drones and KABs. The system consists of FPV interceptors integrated with detection and targeting components. Armed FPV drones launch from a dedicated site and create a defensive "curtain" in the air.

The system employs artificial intelligence to optimize target engagement based on trajectory. It can function without GPS and, importantly for operations in Ukraine where electronic warfare is widespread, it maintains a 3D map of its area of responsibility and includes a friend-or-foe identification system.
If necessary, the Atreyd system can operate completely autonomously. The company claims that, after training, a single operator without special qualifications can control up to 100 drones simultaneously.
According to Atreyd, the drones operate at altitudes of several thousand meters. If a drone is not needed for interception, it can return to base. Each FPV interceptor is estimated to cost only a few thousand US dollars.

Atreyd reports successful internal trials, but the first real combat test will take place in Ukraine, giving Ukrainian forces the world's first opportunity to confirm in battle conditions whether a single operator can indeed control a hundred drones at once.
Although the Business Insider article did not specify the model, the system can be identified on Atreyd's official website as the Drone Wall System (DWS-1). It includes 200 FPV interceptor drones and is primarily marketed as a counter-KAB solution.
Earlier, Defense Express noted that the EU has little chance of building an effective Drone Wall without Ukraine's participation.
