Ukrainian drone operators have once again demonstrated their growing effectiveness against russian air defense systems, with two more surface-to-air missile systems reportedly struck in temporarily occupied Donetsk region. The operation was carried out by pilots of the Kairos 9th Battalion.
The strikes were confirmed on April 10 by Major Robert Brovdi, commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces. His statement highlights the continued emphasis on targeting high-value russian air defense assets as part of a broader suppression campaign.

According to Robert Brovdi, one of the targets was russian Tor system destroyed on the outskirts of Mariupol. Tor system is designed to counter aircraft, helicopters, and precision-guided munitions, making it a key component of frontline air defense coverage.

A second strike targeted the Pantsir system near Zuhres. Pantsir system combines missiles and autocannons to provide close-range protection for critical assets, often acting as a last line of defense against drones and precision strikes.
The destruction of these systems is particularly significant in the current operational context. Air defense assets such as Tor and Pantsir are essential for protecting russian logistics hubs, command posts, and troop concentrations from Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance and strike capabilities.
Robert Brovdi noted that video confirmation of the strikes will be released soon, adding that these systems represent the 10th and 11th russian air defense assets neutralized during the first ten days of April. This pace suggests a sustained and systematic effort to degrade enemy air defenses.
