Over the past 24 hours and during the night of August 31, 2026, Ukrainian forces struck a number of russian military targets in russia, temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories, and near the front line. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the strikes.
Among the targets was russian radar station in Desnyansky of russia's Bryansk region. The General Staff did not specify the type of radar system involved or provide details on the extent of damage.

Ukrainian forces also struck a command-and-staff vehicle belonging to russian S-400 Triumf surface-to-air missile system near Ploskobukreevka, russia.
Another strike hit a communications hub belonging to russian military unit in Zimovnoye, Belgorod region. Such facilities are used to maintain communications between military units and command structures, making them an important element of battlefield coordination.
In Ukraine, Ukrainian forces struck russian UAV command post in the area of Huliaipole, Zaporizhzhia region. The target was involved in the operation and control of russian unmanned aerial systems.
The strikes also targeted russian military logistics. Ukrainian forces hit material and technical supply depots in Kyr-Baylar in temporarily occupied Crimea, Verkhnokamianka in Luhansk region, and Popovo-Lezhachi in russia's Kursk region.
