Ukrainian Barracuda unmanned surface vessel has successfully completed another combat mission, demonstrating the growing effectiveness of maritime drones in operations against russian forces. According to the report, the unmanned boat operated covertly inside enemy-controlled areas, striking both tactical and logistical targets.
During the mission, the Barracuda vessel managed to penetrate hostile positions without being detected. Its low visibility and autonomous navigation allowed it to approach targets at close range, highlighting Ukraine's continued progress in stealth maritime capabilities.

One of the key elements of the operation was the deployment of indigenously developed naval mines. These mines were placed directly within enemy operating areas, expanding Ukraine's ability to deny access and complicate russian movements in coastal and riverine zones.
In addition to mine-laying, the Barracuda system conducted reconnaissance tasks, identifying enemy assets and positions. This combination of scouting and strike functions underscores the multi-role nature of modern Ukrainian unmanned maritime platforms.
Following target acquisition, the drone carried out precision strikes. As a result, russian boat equipped with a machine gun was destroyed, removing a direct threat to Ukrainian positions and maritime activity in the area.
The operation also led to the destruction of russian logistics base. Such targets are of particular importance, as they support frontline operations and sustain enemy forces, making them high-value objectives in asymmetric warfare.
As Defense Express previously reported, russian forces have again attempted to use unconventional tactics to advance near Kupiansk, trying to move assault troops through the underground pipeline of the Soyuz gas pipeline, according to the 115th Separate Mechanized Brigade. The attempt reflects continued russian efforts to exploit infrastructure in order to bypass Ukrainian defensive positions.
