It is noted that this system is considered one of the key electronic warfare assets in the occupiers' arsenal, making it a priority target. One such system is worth approximately $200 million.
Borisoglebsk-2 is one of the most modern russian electronic warfare systems. It is designed to detect and jam communication channels and other systems operating on radio frequencies, including satellite and radio navigation signals. In particular, the occupiers actively use it to counter drones.
"Given the technological complexity of the Borisoglebsk-2, the loss of each such system is significant for the russian army," the statement reads.
Earlier it became known that the Defense Forces of Ukraine had destroyed two Borisoglebsk-2 EW systems in the Kherson region.
