Ukrainian intelligence operatives carried out a coordinated attack on amphibious, logistical, and aviation assets in April

Ukraine's Defense Intelligence operatives from the Prymary special unit continue a systematic campaign targeting russian military infrastructure in temporarily occupied Crimea. The latest operation, conducted in April 2026, demonstrates a coordinated effort to degrade multiple components of the enemy's combat capabilities.

According to available details, the strike package focused on assets linked to amphibious assault, naval logistics, and aviation support. This multi-domain targeting reflects a broader operational concept aimed at weakening russia's ability to project force from the peninsula.

Among the destroyed assets were three landing assault boats of Project 05060, platforms designed to support rapid troop deployment along coastal areas. Their loss reduces russia's flexibility in conducting amphibious operations and limits its capacity for quick reinforcement along the Black Sea coastline.

In addition to the boats, Ukrainian intelligence operators struck a support vessel and a dedicated hangar used for storing the same class of landing craft. The destruction of both operational platforms and their supporting infrastructure suggests an intent not only to inflict immediate losses but also to disrupt regeneration and maintenance cycles.

A notable target in the operation was the Beriev Be-12 Chayka amphibious anti-submarine aircraft. This platform plays a role in maritime patrol and anti-submarine warfare, and its destruction further weakens russia's situational awareness and naval aviation capabilities in the region.

The operation also highlighted the increasing risks faced by Ukrainian drone and reconnaissance crews. In one episode, operators successfully evaded russian man-portable air defense system.
