Ukrainian special operations forces have reportedly struck one of the Federal Security Service's key radio-electronic intelligence facilities in the south of russia, according to the Security Service of Ukraine.
The operation targeted the 16th Center of the Federal Security Service, located in the Temryuk district of russia's Krasnodar region. The facility is an important node in russia's signals intelligence and strike coordination infrastructure.

According to the Security Service, the strike was carried out by operators from the Alpha Special Operations Center while executing tasks assigned by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Ukrainian intelligence claims the facility played a direct role in coordinating missile strikes and drone attacks against Ukrainian territory. In addition, the center was allegedly involved in intercepting signals from foreign satellite communication systems.
The attack was conducted using unmanned aerial systems, continuing Ukraine's broader campaign of long-range drone operations aimed at degrading russia's military and intelligence capabilities far behind the front line.
The Security Service stated that key components of the electronic intelligence center were disabled as a result of the strike. No additional technical details regarding the extent of the damage or the specific systems targeted were disclosed.
As Defense Express previously reported, the Phoenix unit reports successful strikes on russian motorcycles, MT-LB vehicles, tanks, and BM-27 Uragan systems.
