Drone operators tracked and eliminated one of russia's key electronic warfare assets along with a command vehicle

Ukrainian drone operators have successfully tracked and destroyed one of the key russian electronic warfare assets in Kharkiv region, marking another targeted strike against systems used to disrupt UAV operations on the battlefield. The operation was carried out by the National Guard's Lasar's Group, which released footage of the engagement.

The target was russian R-330Zh Zhitel automated jamming station, a mobile electronic warfare system designed to suppress communications and interfere with drone control links. Such systems are considered critical for protecting russian units from Ukrainian reconnaissance and strike UAVs, as they can significantly degrade situational awareness and disrupt coordination.

According to Lasar's Group, the operation began with analytical work to determine the probable location of the system. Once a suspected area was identified, Ukrainian forces deployed fixed-wing reconnaissance drones to conduct aerial surveillance and confirm the presence of the target in the field.

After visual confirmation, precise coordinates were transmitted to strike crews. This layered approach, combining intelligence analysis, aerial reconnaissance, and strike coordination, allowed operators to maintain continuous tracking of the target and prepare a controlled engagement under optimal conditions.

The final phase of the operation involved targeted strikes on the identified positions. As a result, Ukrainian forces destroyed not only the R-330Zh Zhitel electronic warfare station but also russian command-and-staff vehicle located nearby, further degrading local command and control capabilities.
