Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces conducted a series of coordinated strikes against russian military targets across occupied territories during the night of June 15-16, targeting air defense assets, radar systems, drone infrastructure, and logistics networks.
According to the Ukrainian military, the operations were carried out by multiple drone units in cooperation with the Deep Strike Center. The strikes focused on reducing russia's ability to command forces, maintain situational awareness, and sustain combat operations along several sectors of the front.

In Donetsk region, operators of the 1st Separate Center struck russian Osa short-range air defense system. The destruction or disabling of such systems can help create safer corridors for Ukrainian drones operating near the front line and in rear areas.
Additional strikes were reported in the city of Donetsk, where operators of the Kairos 9th Battalion targeted a base used by the Somali and Rubikon units, as well as command personnel from russia's 9th Brigade. The site served as a hub for russian military activity in the area.
Elsewhere in Donetsk region, Ukrainian drone operators struck a shelter containing weapons and military equipment belonging to russian 72nd Brigade. Such facilities are often used to conceal armored vehicles, ammunition, and other resources from aerial surveillance.
One of the most significant reported actions occurred in temporarily occupied Crimea, where operators of the 1st Separate Center targeted five russian coastal radar systems. These radars play an important role in monitoring air and maritime activity around the peninsula, making them valuable targets for long-range strike operations.
The campaign also extended to russian drone infrastructure. In Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian forces struck a temporary deployment point used by fixed-wing drone operators, while in Luhansk region, the K-2 Brigade targeted a workshop producing munitions for heavy unmanned aerial vehicles. Another strike reportedly hit a drone warehouse belonging to russian motor rifle unit in Donetsk region.
In addition to fixed military facilities, Ukrainian drone operators targeted russian logistics vehicles across Luhansk, Donetsk, and Kherson regions. The latest operation reflects Ukraine's broader strategy of systematically degrading russian air defense, reconnaissance, logistics, and drone capabilities, seeking to weaken the enemy's ability to sustain operations both at the front and in the rear.
