Ukraine Conducts Precision Strikes on Ryazan Oil Refinery in Coordinated Operation

On the night of December 6, 2025, as part of efforts to reduce the combat capabilities of the russian Armed Forces, units of Ukraine's Defense Forces carried out a strike against infrastructure at the Ryazan Oil Refinery in russia's Ryazan region

The strike resulted in a confirmed hit on the target, damaging the low-temperature isomerization unit. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the operation.

The Ryazan Oil Refinery, with a design capacity of 17.1 million tonnes of crude oil per year, is among the largest refineries in russia. It produces A-92/95/98/100 gasoline, jet fuel, diesel, and other products, and plays a role in supplying fuel to russian occupation forces.

In addition, to further degrade the enemy's offensive capabilities, Ukrainian forces conducted a fire strike on the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region. The facility manufactures components (shell casings) for ammunition under contracts with the russian Ministry of Defense.

A hit and subsequent fire at the site were confirmed. The results and full extent of the damage are being clarified.
