At the same time, possible joint project specifically considers modern conventional ballistic missile production. Such weapons should satisfy Europe's needs for long-range strikes, given modern wars' requirements.
Defense Express notes that thus we have confirmation of rumors from February this year. It was then reported ArianeGroup approached German government regarding creating rocket fuel production at one of its enterprises in Germany.

Comments about belief in cooperation between countries are not just casual here, as recently everything is complicated in this direction. Immediately recalled here is FCAS sixth-generation fighter, where industries cannot divide roles among themselves, but nobody wants to abandon yet.
Next immediately comes new main battle tank under MGCS project, which will be ready only in 2040s. So first Germany, then France took on interim solution, with delay accusations sounding.

Whether ballistics will repeat same fate is interesting question, but so far appears more about involving German industry than joint work. However, this can develop into something more, given long-range weapons needs.
Recall that together with Britain and Germany, France will work on 2,500km-range ground-based ballistic missile, and also independently on 2,000km range.
