A russian drone attempted to approach one of the region's seaports, according to a post on the Ukrainian Navy's social media accounts.
Ukrainian forces detected the target as it was moving toward port facilities. Immediately after identifying the target, naval units successfully neutralized the threat.

A Mavic reconnaissance drone was also deployed for the operation to conduct surveillance. The target was likely neutralized using small arms or a combat module equipped with a machine gun.
"An enemy unmanned surface vessel attempting to approach one of Odessa's ports was quickly detected and successfully destroyed. We will not give the enemy a single chance—neither on land nor at sea," the military wrote, releasing a video of the destruction.
It should be noted that in April 2025, russia announced the establishment of a technical council for the development of unmanned systems and technologies for maritime use. It is expected to serve as a specialized platform for accelerating the development of promising technologies and equipping the fleet with cutting-edge solutions.
