Spanish government has published an official list of military aid delivered to Ukraine from March 2022 to February 2024. According to the document, Spain carried out 61 arms deliveries with a total value of 190 million euros during this period, and it's not just the quantity, the diversity of goods is broad.
From protective uniforms and radios, thermal imagers to various drones, grenade launchers, small arms, artillery systems with ammunition, air defense missiles for Mistral, MIM-23 Hawk and Aspide systems, Harpoon anti-ship missiles. On top of that, eight patrol boats and ten Leopard 2A4 tanks, reports Infodefensa citing the document released by Xiana Méndez, the Secretary of State for Commerce.

Notably, in the papers, Madrid declares its intention to transfer 20 more Leopard 2A4 tanks to Ukraine, the associated permission for delivery has already been issued. However, since the tanks are coming from long-term reserve stocks, it will take some time to repair the Leopards before they can reinforce the Ukrainian army.
Infodefensa links the decision on additional tanks with the recent visit of a Ukrainian delegation from the State Border Guard Service; they were looking for any equipment and weapons that could still be acquired from Spain.

The Spanish media emphasizes that the mentioned list of aid includes only the officially declared deliveries provided by the Spanish government, while private contractors probably supplied the rest of the Spanish weapons in the Ukrainian arsenal.
In this regard, let's recall that by June 2023, Spain had supplied the Armed Forces of Ukraine with equipment enough to sustain almost an entire brigade, including a company of Leopard 2A4 tanks, 55 M113 armored personnel carriers and six OTO Melara Mod 56 light howitzers, and more. Therefore, the share of supplies from formally private contractors is quite significant, Defense Express assumes.

Earlier, Defense Express covered the results of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting in Ramstein on March 19th, where Kyiv was promised more air defense missiles, and reassured that F-16s would arrive according to the schedule. Additionally, Ukrainian forces will be receiving military aid worth €912 million from Germany and Belgium in the coming months and long term, focusing on artillery ammunition supplies.
