One and a half months past the Copenhagen Conference on Ukraine aid, the first results of a joint effort by multiple countries are being revealed soon

Denmark and Slovenia are about to announce a new batch of military aid to Ukraine fighting against russian aggressive invasion, Defense Express reports citing the Danish defense ministry. This support package differs from the ones we have seen so far in a way that it has been agreed upon back in August at the Copenhagen Conference – the event dedicated to finding ways to boost supplies of military equipment separately from the U.S.-led "Rammstein format" initiative.

As a reminder, the Copenhagen Conference for Northern European Defense Allies of Ukraine took place on August 11, and the only thing we know in regard to the results is that a total of 1.5 billion euros ($1.55 billion) were committed by multiple countries.

Twenty-six participants of the event agreed to speed up and coordinate domestic production of arms. These include Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and even Sweden which was considering starting the manufacture of their arms using the industrial capacities of the aforementioned countries. We earlier provided a detailed analysis of what kinds of Swedish weapons for Ukraine could be manufactured in this manner.

The names of weapons committed by the participants were not disclosed. And only now, seven weeks later, Danish Minister of Defense Morten Bødskov together with his Slovak colleague Jaroslav Nad will reveal the details on Sunday, October 2. Defense Express will watch closely as the items in the military aid list are revealed.

"Joint donation is a concrete expression of the money and intentions that a wide circle of countries agreed on at the donor conference in Copenhagen in August," says the invitation to the press conference.

In addition, Danish defense minister is to announce another package of aid for Ukraine on a bilateral basis.
