Since February 24th Ukrainian troops have eliminated at least 9 generals, and other senior officers and unit commanders of the Armed Forces of Russia.
30.12 – Colonel Marat Gadzhybalayev. Once an infantry brigade commander.

02.10 – Colonel Vladimir Rogaliov. He was the chief of staff of the 7th Military Base. Served in South Ossetia, Abkhazia, Syria.
29.11 – Colonel Denis Davydov. He was the commander of the regiment of radioactive, chemical and biological protection. Served in Syria in 2020.
25.09 – Colonel Boris Totikov. He was the head of rocket and artillery troops.
01.09 – Colonel Alexey Kharechko. He was base Deputy Commander of the 4th Military Base, 58th Combined Arms Army, Southern Military District
09.08 – Colonel Kanat Mukatov. He was Division Deputy Commander of the 20th Guards Motor Rifle Division, 8th Guards Combined Arms Army, SMD
09.08 – Colonel Alexei Gorobets. He was Division Commander of the 20th Guards Motor Rifle Division, 8th Guards Combined Arms Army, SMD
09.08 – Colonel Maxim Kudrin. He was Deputy Armament Commander of the 106th Guards Airborne Division, Western Military District.
08.08 – Colonel Anatoly Stasyukevich. He was 1st Deputy Commander of the 3rd Guards Combined Aviation Division, 4th Air and Air Defence Forces Army, Southern Military District.
06.08 – Deputy Division Commander Colonel Aleksandr Krylov, eliminated in Kherson oblast.
28.07 – Colonel Andrey Vasilyev. He was Regiment Commander, of the 137th Guards Airborne Regiment, 106th Guards Airborne Division, Western Military District.
12.07 – Major General Artem Nasbulin. He was Chief of Staff for the 22nd Army Corps of the Armed Forces of the russian federation. Serhiy Bratchuk, the spokesman for the head of the Odesa regional military administration, told his followers on Telegram that a HIMARS missile hit and the general Nasbulin was killed.
05.06 – Major General Roman Kutuzov. He was the commander for pro-russian proxy combatants of the so-called "Luhansk People's Republic". Eliminated after a successful ambush.
24.05 – Major General Kanamat Botashev. His Su-25 jet was shot down, making him the highest-ranking fighter pilot to die in the war in Ukraine, according to reports.
11.05 – Colonel Denis Kozlov, the commander of the 12th Engineering Brigade. Eliminated during setting up a pontoon bridge across a river, presumably the Siverskyi Donets.
30.04 – Major General Anton Simonov was reportedly eliminated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. An adviser to the Head of the President's Office Oleksiy Arestovych said. Simonov led electronic warfare within the 2nd Combined Arms Army and is a former cyber commander of the Western Military District. Russia hasn’t confirmed the elimination yet.
18.04 – Colonel Ivan Grishin from the russian city of Smolensk eliminated. He used to be the commander of the 49th Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade. The Strategic Communications Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported about elimination.
16.04 – Major General Vladimir Frolov, the deputy commander of the 8th Army, was eliminated during a so-called special military operation in Ukraine. This was reported in the press service of St. Petersburg city administration on Telegram. Officially confirmed elimination.
09.04 – Colonel Alexander Bespalov, who was the commander of the 59th Guards Tank Regiment. The Ukrainian Ground Forces reported about his death in their Facebook page. No details have been given.
29.03 – Russian Colonel Denys Kurilo, who was the brigade commander of the 200th separate motorized infantry brigade and was eliminated in the battles near Kharkiv.
The 200th Brigade was one of those “elite” combat units of the Russian army and was said to be equipped with the most modern weapons that Russia had in its inventory. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated the elimination on Facebook. Russians haven't confirmed it yet.
25.03 – Lieutenant General Yakov Vladimirovich Rezantsev, who was the commander of the 49th Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District of Russia. An adviser to the head of the President's Office Oleksiy Arestovych stated that at the briefing, claiming that Rezantsev was eliminated at the airfield in Chornobaivka. Russia hasn't confirmed his death yet.
22.03 – Colonel Alexei Sharov, who commanded the 810th Separate Guards Marine Brigade, was reported killed in Mariupol. Russian media officially confirmed this information.
This Brigade took part in the annexation of Crimea and conducted military operations in Donbass region.
20.03 – Colonel of the Russian Guards Sergei Savvateev, who commanded the SOBR detachment near the Vladimir region. Elimination was reported by blogger Necro Mancer, citing Russian media, saying that his military column was destroyed in Ukraine 03.03.22.
19.03 – Colonel Nikolai Ovcharenko, commander the 1st Guards Tank Army of Western Military District, was killed while setting up a pontoon-bridge near Izium town. The elimination was claimed by Ukrainian journalist Roman Tsymbaliuk.
19.03 – Captain of the first rank and deputy commander of the Black Sea Fleet Andrei Pali is claimed to be dead. He was the first senior Russian naval officer to die since the start of the Russian invasion. His death was confirmed by Pali’s friend who made a post on Vkontakte about that.
18.03 – Lieutenant General Andrei Mordvichev, commander of the 8th Combined Arms Army, was eliminated in fighting at Chornobaivka, near the southern city of Kherson. The information is provided by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As of March 19 Russia hasn't confirmed the loss yet.
17.03 – Colonel Sergei Sukharev, Commander of the 331st Guards Parachute Regiment of the Russian Federation (the one, which took part in shooting of Ukrainian military column evacuating from Ilovaisk through the green corridor). This information was officially given by Russian media, but with no further data.
Sergei Sukharev had a medal for his participation in the occupation of Crimea in 2014.
According to the open sources information, at least half of the personnel of the 311th Airborne Regiment of the 98th Airborne Division were destroyed in the battles against the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
14.03 – Soldiers of the Azov Battalion informed to have eliminated another major general of the Russian Armed Forces on the outskirts of Mariupol.
He is said to be Oleg Mityaiev, the 150th Motor Rifle Division Commander. In 2015 he also used to command on the territory of Donbas. Exact data in being collected.
14.03 – Colonel Sergei Porokhnya (Porokhnya Sergei Ivanovitch), 12th Separate Guards Engineering Brigade Commander.
11.03 Russian major general Andrei Kolesnikov, who used to be the Commander of the 29th Combined Arms Army.
The official Ukrainian Telegram channel for Russians to look out for their relatives among the captured and KIA (“Ищи своих”) has posted the information about one more KIA Russian high-ranking officer.
As of March 11 Russia hasn’t confirmed the information yet.
10.03 – the 6th Guards Motor Rifle Regiment Commander A. Zakharov (disposition in Chebarkul town) of the 90th Guards Motor Rifle Division of the Central Military District was eliminated in the suburbs of Kyiv.
07.03 – Major General of the Russian Armed Forces Vitaliy Gerasimov, who used to be a Chief of Staff and the first Deputy Commander of the 41st Army of the Central Military District of Russia was eliminated in the suburbs of Kharkiv.
Considering the fact that it was Ukrainian shelling of Russian headquarters, some number of senior staff officers of the Russian Armed Forces got killed and wounded as well.
05.03 – Colonel Kostyantin Zizevskiy, the 247th Guards Air Assault Regiment Commander (disposition in Stavropol city). Information confirmed by the Russian Federation.

26.02.– Magomed Tushayev, the 141st Special Mechanized Regiment of the National Guard of the Russian Federation Commander (disposition in Chechnya).
