In mid-May this year it became known that the Italian government agreed to transfer to Ukraine 155-mm howitzers FH70.
At the same time, on Thursday, May 26, Operational Command "West" announced that these howitzers were already in the hands of artillerymen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and were destroying racists - and soon published a detailed video with the the howitzers gun-team acting in Ukraine.

At the same time, Ukraine Weapons Tracker noticed that the howitzer, that was highlighted in the video above, probably "arrived" in Ukraine not from Italy, but from Estonia.
This opinion is prompted, in particular, by the typical tricolor camouflage and MAN Kat 1 6x6 truck, that is used by the Estonian army.
In turn, the Italian FH70 howitzers are usually painted in one color, and a Fiat 6605 trucks are used to transport them.
However, Military Balance suggests that as of 2021, Estonia had 24 FH70 howitzers in service, some of which could most likely be sent to Ukraine.
Defense Express reported that the Ukrainian warriors are already using American M777A2 howitzers on the battlefield - and they are having their first successes.
