At the G20 Summit in Bali, Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau announced a provision of $500 million in additional military assistance for Ukraine which adds to the same amount committed half a year ago in Canadian Budget 2022
These funds will be allocated "toward military, surveillance, and communications equipment, fuel, and medical supplies," as noted at the official press service.

"Ukraine’s military has made incredible progress reclaiming ground and Canada’s military contributions have been integral in their counter offensive to-date," said Anita Anand, Minister of National Defence of Canada. "The $500 million in new military aid announced today will ensure that we continue to meet Ukraine’s military momentum with the military aid that it needs to fight and win."
So far, Canadian commitment of military aid to Ukraine since February 2022 amounts to over $600 million, including LAV armored combat support vehicles, M77 artillery and precision ammunition to them, drone cameras, and winter clothing for Ukrainian soldiers.

Though we should also remind that Canada is one of those countries that provided military support even before the invasion, by investing in Ukraine’s defense industry and establishing a long-lasting Operation UNIFIER on training Ukrainian military personnel in 2015.
Canada also started sending military equipment just before the russian invasion; first, it was non-lethal supplies, but then shifted to more decisive lethal aid supplies weeks before the russian attack. Now the list of weapons includes anti-tank missiles, Excalibur precision munitions for 155mm artillery, small arms, thousands of M72 rocket launchers and hand grenades.
