The russian army again did not count their launchers and radars in the temporarily occupied south of Ukraine

The Operational Command "South" once again reported on the destruction of russian anti-aircraft missile systems: the August 18 summary confirmed the destruction of four launchers and one radar station for the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system, which the russians now usually use to strike ground targets.

This is not the first time that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed Russian S-300 air defense systems that are shelling Ukrainian cities. So, for example, at the end of July, Ukraine’s military destroyed the S-300 battery of the occupiers, which was shelling Mykolaiv.

At the same time, recently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have also destroyed the radar stations of these complexes: for example, in early August, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the rare 9S19 Imbir radar station, which is part of the S-300V air defense system and can detect ballistic missiles, together with the launchers.

The regular loss to enemy radars in this direction can be associated with the appearance of the AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missile in the Armed Forces of Ukraine: according to the Pentagon, the Ukrainian military launches this missile from its planes.

In general, as the Operational Command "South" noted, the situation remains difficult, but under control. In addition to the S-300, it was also possible to demilitarize 73 enemy personel, three tanks, one ammunition depot, and five units of armored and automotive vehicles during the day.
