Yesterday there was a stir caused by the news about obsolete T-62M’s getting prepared for combat. These vehicles “remember” Khrushchev and Vietnam, armed with 115mm guns, have pretty low survival chances in today’s war.
According to the data provided by several sources, Defense Express may suggest the possible area where russia may apply these vehicles.
As it turned out, T-62M’s were stored in particular on the territory of the 943 mobilization deployment center, in Novoozerny, the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula.
At the moment, the enemy has one battalion set of T-62M tanks removed from storage and prepared for dispatch.
Apparently, the russians are preparing to use these Khrushchev-era tanks for battles in the southern direction to restrain the advance of Ukraine’s troops in the Mykolaiv or Kherson directions.
