The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Poland has published data on the total amount of security assistance aid to Ukraine since the beginning of russia's full-scale war against the country.
The total amount of aid provided by Poland to Ukraine is estimated at 13.3 billion zlotys (approximately 3 billion euros), which became known thanks to the request of the Defence24 Polish specialized publication.

The total amount was given without detailing the content of the aid itself, but we are talking about a really large-scale supply of Soviet T-72M tanks and their upgrades, including PT-91 Twardy tanks, Krab self-propelled guns, the Osa and S-125 SAM systems, ammunition, small arms, spare parts, etc.

This amount also includes the supply of Leopard 2A4 tanks and MiG-29 fighters. And it is these and other supplies, as the publication writes, that are associated with an increase in the total amount of aid by 0.5 billion euros over the past few months.
Currently, it is not known whether the announced total amount of supplies to Ukraine includes Rosomak APCs as well as Rak self-propelled mortars, which were agreed upon in April 2023.
It should be noted that the total amount of aid from Poland in the amount of 13.3 billion zlotys for approximately 1.5 years is approximately equal to 10% of all the country's annual defense expenditures per year. In particular, the country's defense budget for 2023 is 137.18 billion zlotys (approximately 30.9 billion euros).
Investing this money in the defense of Ukraine is definitely one of the most effective investments for Warsaw. Firstly, due to the war with Ukraine, the russian federation is unlikely to have a real opportunity to break through the Suwalki Corridor through the territory of Poland to Kaliningrad.

Secondly, with a high degree of probability, the transfer of weapons to Ukraine took place by obtaining the corresponding "vouchers" from the United States for the purchase of American weapons. And this, in turn, allows Poland to receive significant discounts for the renewal of its own armed forces.
