The enemy keeps loosing tanks in the war in Ukraine, russian forces quantity and quality decrease

Press service of the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed on their Facebook page about one more victory. During a battle with russian invaders a few enemy tanks and armored personnel carriers and were destroyed and captured.

Trophy tanks are worth paying special attention. But due to “uncomfortable” angle it’s difficult to distinguish the destroyed tanks accurately.

Apparently, the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade troops captured an upgraded command tank T-80U, which is equipped with two radio stations and an auxiliary 18kW gas turbine engine.

At the same time, Defense Express doesn’t exclude, that Ukrainian troops could have captured a much more precious and rare unit: T-90M “Proryv”, which is a kind of russia’s “under-Armata” tank. The army of russian federation had only a few dozens of this tanks as of 2021.

No matter what kind of tank this captured one really is, there is a strong tendency that russian military forces decrease in their quantity and quality as well.

General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that as of now there are 722 enemy tanks destroyed. According to the open sources, there are almost 100 enemy T-80 tanks of different modifications either destroyed or captured.
