Another test of Turkish Bayraktar AKINICI unmanned combat aerial vehicle

Turkish defense company Baykar conducted the IHA-230 supersonic missile firing test form the Bayraktar AKINICI unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV), Selcuk Bayraktar, a chief technology officer of Baykar, reported on Twitter.

The Bayraktar AKINCI UCAV successfully test-fired the IHA-230 missile capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 140 kilometers (90 miles).

During the first test in December, 2022, the missile was fired from 7600 meters, flew 100 km and successfully hit the target.

Roketsan is the manufacturer of the IHA-230 missile. According to open sources, the missile can hit targets at the distance of 20-150 kilometers. It gives the ability to strike without flying in the air defense zone of the enemy.
