Invasion forces of the russian 3rd Army Corps have deployed BMPT Terminator combat vehicles to Ukraine, specifically to the Avdiivka direction in the eastern part of the country. The vehicle is engaged in hostilities against the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
BMPT Terminator was featured in a video, and noteworthy, we can see the russians use them mostly at night. Of all armament, only 30mm 2A4 autocannons and Ataka-T anti-tank missiles were used but no AGS-17 grenade launchers were deployed.

This video is the first reminder of the Terminator tank support vehicle over the past five months. The last time it re-emerged was in early February 2023, when one of those was lost in battle against the Ukrainian forces, for the first time destroyed ever.

Other than these two occasions, there was also the notorious episode near Severodonetsk in May 2022 when a pair of Terminators fled combat without having an opportunity to open fire. In all three cases, russian BMPT Terminator performance can hardly be evaluated as successful.
However, the fact russians continue to deploy this vehicle in combat means they see the flaws and try to adapt the concept of application to the real needs of modern warfare although they seem to still struggle to find a suitable place and role for it.
This example once again shows that a modern big continental war does have a place for fire support vehicles on tank chassis, like the BMPT Terminator. In this context, we should also recall a Ukrainian analog, the hybrid called BMPV: autocannons installed on T-62 chassis in an improvised move forced by the need for heavy IFVs on the battlefield.
