Defense Express has dedicated a number of articles analyzing how russians tried to apply their "wunderwaffe" in Ukraine – the BMPT "Terminator" tank support vehicle. Starting with its failed debut in May 2022, when it got under artillery fire and had to flee before even contributing to the fight.
And now we have the first confirmed loss of this unique piece of equipment. The video shot by a drone shows a series of strikes on a Terminator, which was confirmed by the Naval Infantry Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"As we can see, this allegedly 'invincible' and 'unique' combat vehicle burns just as beautifully as the rest of the russian metal scrap," says the caption from the Ukrainian marines.
Surely, the video raises some questions, for example, why we can see no troops trying to leave the vehicle as soon as it came under shelling? Likely, this vehicle was already abandoned, and the Ukrainian marines spotted it during drone recon.
We can also see a V-marking on the hull which indicates the Terminator was used by the russian naval infantry.
We should recall that since that very first experience of the Terminator on the Ukrainian frontlines, the russians were looking for an opportunity to "restart" the failed debut, and for a while, it disappeared from active discussion in the russian propaganda media.
But despite some Ukrainian assessments, Terminators were brought to light once more recently, and one of them indeed was shown by a russian channel deployed somewhere in eastern Ukraine.
