USA to Send More Javelin Anti-Tank Missiles to Destroy russia’s Tanks in Ukraine

There’re no redundant Javelin missiles, another package to be sent to Ukraine to fight against russian occupiers

Ukraine will receive additional anti-tank missiles to the Javelin ATGM. So, by Friday, May 6, the United States is to deliver another 5,000 missiles to Ukraine.

This was stated at a briefing by Pentagon spokesman John Kirby.

Thus, the concentration of anti-tank weapons in the hands of Ukraine's defenders is reaching very serious proportions. For example, as of April 8 this year, it was known that the Allies had handed over 60,000 anti-tank weapons to Ukraine.

At the same time, according to the interim results of assistance from the United States, as of April 21, Ukraine received at least 5,500 Javelin anti-tank missile systems.

Defense Expres notes that russia is already bringing targets for these missiles. It has recently become known that russia wants to "strengthen" its army in the temporarily occupied territories with decommissioned tanks and obsolete BMP-1 IFV’s.
