Ukrainian pilots tracked the Shahed drone to a safe zone before opening fire

On February 4, footage emerged of Ukrainian Mi-17 helicopter successfully intercepting and destroying russian attack UAV. The incident took place during an air raid, showcasing the skill and adaptability of Ukrainian pilots.

Tracking the Shahed drone, the Mi-17 crew patiently followed it until it reached an area devoid of residential buildings. Once in a safe zone, the helicopter’s gunners opened fire, striking the UAV and causing it to rapidly lose altitude. The drone ultimately crashed in a field, where it exploded.
