On the night of May 23, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck a number of key targets belonging to russian occupying forces. Specifically, strikes hit the Sheskharis oil terminal, the Grushovaya oil transshipment base, and russia's shadow fleet tanker. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Sheskharis is one of russia's largest oil terminals on the Black Sea and forms part of the Transneft system. Its throughput capacity is up to 75 million tons of oil per year, while its storage capacity is approximately 1.28 million cubic meters. The facility handles the transshipment of oil and petroleum products for export and supports the needs of the russian military.

In the same area near Novorossiysk, the Grushovaya oil base was struck, with a fire reported on the premises.
The Grushovaya oil base is a key component of the Sheskharis complex and one of the largest tank farms in southern russia. Its total capacity is approximately 1.2–1.4 million cubic meters. The facility is used for storing, transshipping, and transporting crude oil and petroleum products, including in support of the russian military logistics, according to the General Staff of Ukraine.
In addition, strikes hit the Black Sea area where russia's shadow fleet operates, and damage to the CHRYSALIS tanker has been confirmed.
"Our troops also struck enemy communications hubs in Krasnorichenske, Luhansk Oblast, and in Smile, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, as well as a logistics depot in Frolivske, Zaporizhzhia Oblast. In Prechystivka, Donetsk region, an enemy ammunition depot was struck. The Defense Forces of Ukraine will continue to take systematic measures aimed at weakening the military and economic potential of russian occupying forces and forcing the russian federation to end its armed aggression against Ukraine," the statement reads.
