Ukrainian intelligence has incapacitated another russian vessel, this time the Baltic Fleet minesweeper Alexander Obukhov (russian Project 12700 Alexandrit-class base minesweeper), according to the press service of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
The ship, stationed in Baltiysk and scheduled for combat deployment, suffered significant damage when water entered its engine through a hole in the gas duct, based on intelligence reports.

"Due to the mysterious appearance of a hole in the gas duct, water entered the engine, causing the Obukhov to stall."
"The russian minesweeper is now undergoing major repairs, which could prove to be a serious issue ― the damaged M-503 engine is quite a rare component. Repairing this key system on the ship is technically challenging and expensive.
Interestingly, the disabled enemy vessel had just recently, in July of this year, undergone repair work in Saint Petersburg," Ukrainian intelligence stated.
Let us recall that in April 2024, as a result of the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence's Rybalko operation, the Serpukhov missile boat was disabled.
