The vehicle was reportedly moving through the area when Ukrainian forces detected it. The operators of the 3rd Separate Detachment used an FPV drone to attack the vehicle.
The first impact apparently did not immediately stop russian vehicle. The unit appeared to withstand the initial strike and continued moving after being hit by Ukrainian FPV drone.
However, the damage proved critical. After traveling some distance, the vehicle eventually stopped, with the footage showing that it had almost completely burned out.
According to the Omega Center, the destroyed Typhoon vehicle was valued at approximately $2 million. This makes the vehicle a particularly valuable target for a relatively low-cost FPV drone strike.
As Defense Express previously reported, Ukrainian intelligence operators struck infrastructure at the naval base in Novorossiysk and hit the Admiral Essen frigate during a deep-strike operation.
