russian forces attempted to assault Ukrainian defensive positions in Dnipropetrovsk region, deploying armored vehicles alongside several dozen infantry troops. The attack was aimed at breaching Ukrainian lines but ultimately failed.
The 92nd Separate Assault Brigade reported that enemy units advanced with mechanized support, indicating an effort to test or penetrate Ukrainian defenses in the area. However, the maneuver was detected in time and met with a coordinated response.

Key to repelling the assault were Ukrainian drone units, whose operators struck the advancing forces with precision. The Brigade emphasized that unmanned aerial systems played a decisive role in disrupting the attack and targeting both personnel and equipment.
As a result of the strikes, Ukrainian forces destroyed or damaged two russian military trucks, one T-72 main battle tank, one MT-LB armored personnel carrier, and one infantry fighting vehicle. In addition, approximately 35 russian servicemen were reported killed during the engagement.
The losses inflicted forced russian units to abandon their assault, effectively halting any attempt to advance. The Brigade confirmed that the breakthrough attempt was fully thwarted and did not result in territorial gains for the attacking force.
According to the 92nd Brigade, Ukrainian units continue to carry out combat missions within their area of responsibility and maintain firm control over their positions. Defensive lines remain intact, and no withdrawal was required following the clash.
As Defense Express previously reported, Ukrainian forces of the Third Army Corps, in coordination with the Defense Intelligence, have conducted joint assault operations along the Lyman direction, reportedly destroying an entire russian army regiment.
The coordinated operation allowed Ukrainian forces to stabilize the front line and improve their tactical positioning in the area, enhancing their ability to conduct further offensive and defensive actions.
