Ukrainian forces of the Third Army Corps, in coordination with the Defense Intelligence, have conducted joint assault operations along the Lyman direction, reportedly destroying an entire russian army regiment.
The coordinated operation allowed Ukrainian forces to stabilize the front line and improve their tactical positioning in the area, enhancing their ability to conduct further offensive and defensive actions.

According to official statements, the operation not only eliminated the enemy regiment but also resulted in the capture of a significant number of russian soldiers. These actions are said to deny the opponent freedom of maneuver while creating favorable conditions for subsequent operations.
General Andriy Biletsky, commander of the Third Army Corps, emphasized the importance of close cooperation with Ukrainian intelligence units, noting that the success continues a tradition of mutual support dating back to operations such as the liberation of Moshchun and helicopter breakthroughs to Mariupol.
"The operational-tactical result on the Lyman axis is the product of joint effort," Andriy Biletsky stated, highlighting the effectiveness of integrating conventional forces with intelligence-led special operations.
Victor Torkotiuk, commander of the Artan unit, attributed the success to the skill and initiative of the troops and field commanders, praising their ability to find solutions to complex battlefield challenges.
As Defense Express previously reported, north of the recently liberated village of Andriivka, FPV drone operators from the Pentagon Unmanned Systems Battalion of Ukraine's 225th Separate Assault Regiment eliminated another group of russian soldiers attempting to cross a river using inflatable boats.
