The United States is moving to supply heavy weapons to Ukraine to counter Russian occupation forces. Some of the samples will be transferred for the first time
The United States is expanding the range of weapons that the country is ready to hand over to Ukraine as part of military assistance. Joe Biden and Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke by phone for roughly an hour before the US president issued a statement formally announcing the new aid package, which includes weapons, ammunition and other military aid.
