On the Vovchansk front, russian assault troops are advancing "blind," guided forward by their own drones. More often than not, this leads them straight into the fire and drone strikes of Ukrainian defenders.
This was reported on national television by Roman Kosse, head of the press service of the Forpost brigade.

According to him, russian tactics shifted dramatically several months ago. In winter and early spring, they relied on armored assaults. But once foliage returned, everything changed.
Now, taking cover among trees and bushes to avoid aerial reconnaissance, russian troops approach Ukrainian positions in small groups. Sometimes they use light motorcycles to close the distance quickly and start firefights. These groups move without situational awareness, led only by drones.
Most of these assault troops, many of them convicts from Storm-Z units, are being killed or captured in large numbers.
"If we talk about the latest prisoner, he was 19 years old. He had about 11 months left on his sentence. Then new charges were added, and he agreed to sign a contract. He served for only a month and a half. They advanced as a group of four. Our men spotted them. A Vampire UAV struck the group. He was the only one who survived," Kosse said.
